TDI Advanced Wreck Diver – Advanced Wreck Penetration Training

The TDI Advanced Wreck Diver Course prepares divers to safely conduct advanced wreck dives and penetration into overhead environments inside shipwrecks. This course builds on the knowledge gained in recreational wreck diving and introduces the techniques required for more complex wreck exploration.

Shipwrecks are some of the most fascinating dive sites in the world, often containing historical artifacts, complex structures, and unique marine life. However, wreck diving also presents hazards such as confined spaces, entanglement risks, limited visibility, and complex navigation routes.

During this course, divers learn how to safely plan and execute wreck penetration dives using guidelines, redundant equipment systems, and advanced dive planning techniques. The training focuses on strong buoyancy control, proper propulsion techniques, and safe navigation inside wreck structures.

The TDI Advanced Wreck Diver course teaches divers how to explore wrecks beyond the natural light zone while maintaining strict safety procedures and team communication protocols.

This program is often combined with other technical courses such as Advanced Nitrox, Decompression Procedures, or Trimix Diver training.
