SSI Recreational Sidemount Diving Specialty – Dive with Comfort and Flexibility
Discover a new way to dive with the SSI Recreational Sidemount Diving Specialty Course. Sidemount diving allows divers to carry their cylinders at their sides instead of on their back, providing improved comfort, better trim, and increased flexibility underwater.
Originally developed for cave diving, sidemount has become increasingly popular in recreational diving because it offers excellent buoyancy control, streamlined positioning, and easier access to valves and equipment.
This course teaches divers how to properly configure sidemount equipment, manage gas supply, and maintain efficient trim and buoyancy while diving with side-mounted cylinders.
