TDI Air Diluent CCR Diver – rEvo Rebreather Training

The TDI Air Diluent Closed Circuit Rebreather (CCR) Diver Course is the entry-level training program for divers who want to begin diving with a closed-circuit rebreather system.

This course is conducted using the rEvo Closed Circuit Rebreather, a highly respected CCR unit known for its dual scrubber design, reliability, and efficient gas management.

Closed-circuit rebreathers recycle exhaled breathing gas and maintain a controlled oxygen level in the breathing loop. This technology allows divers to extend bottom time, reduce gas consumption, and enjoy quiet, bubble-free diving.

During this course, divers will learn the theory, operation, and safety procedures required to dive the rEvo CCR system. Students will practice proper equipment configuration, system checks, dive planning, and emergency procedures while conducting confined water and open water training dives.

Training dives are conducted to a maximum depth of 30 m / 100 ft, using air as the diluent gas and remaining within no-decompression limits, following TDI training standards.

The TDI Air Diluent CCR Diver course is the first step into the world of rebreather diving and prepares divers for more advanced programs such as:

• TDI CCR Decompression Procedures Diver

• TDI Mixed Gas CCR Diver

• TDI Rebreather Cave Diver programs

What You Will Learn

During this course you will learn:

• rEvo rebreather system setup and configuration

• CCR breathing loop mechanics

• Oxygen management and gas physiology

• Proper scrubber packing and system checks

• Dive planning and gas calculations

• Buoyancy control while diving a rebreather

• Emergency procedures and bailout protocols

These skills form the foundation of all advanced CCR diving programs.

Certification

After successfully completing the course, students will receive the TDI Air Diluent Closed Circuit Rebreather Diver certification for the rEvo unit.

Graduates may conduct no-decompression CCR dives up to 30 m / 100 ft using their certified rebreather system.
